Hipragumboro GM97 is a vaccine used to control Gumboro disease in broilers.INDICATION: For active immunization of broilers with insignificant levels of maternally derived antibodies (ELISA of 500 or below) to reduce mortality, clinical signs and lesions of gumboro disease. Such birds can be vaccinated from one day of age. The optimum age for vaccination may be calculated using the level of maternal antibody in the chicks at day old but normally lies in the range of 12 to 18 days. Use atleast 18 birds from the same batch. The immunization begins at the 14th days after vaccination and it ends at 43 days after vaccination. The veterinary surgeon should establish the most suitable vaccination programme according to the health conditions of each farm and area. ADMINISTRATION; Oral, 1 dose/ Bird. If the number of birds does not coincide with the number of doses of available vials, an overdose should be administered, never administer less than the recommended dosage. DOSAGE: Inject 10ml of drinking water to break the vacuum of the vials, shake well until complete resuspension of the freeze dried tablet before administration. Incase of administration by oral route do not use water with chlorine or disinfectant, use fresh tap water only. To ensure that vaccine water is ingested within 1 or 2 hours at most it’s advisable not to administer water to animals for 1 or 2 hours before vaccination.
